Dentistry
Did you know that dental disease is one of the most common health issues in pets? Studies show that over 80% of dogs and 70% of cats develop some degree of dental disease by the age of 3.
Just like humans, pets need regular dental care to maintain healthy teeth and gums and prevent serious health problems down the line.
Comprehensive Dental Care
Common Signs of Dental Disease
- Bad breath
- Discoloured teeth or visible yellow-brown tartar on the gum line
- Red, inflamed, or bleeding gums
- Difficulty eating or chewing
- Pawing at the face or mouth
- Excessive drooling
If your pet is showing any of these signs, it’s important to schedule a dental checkup with our veterinary team. Left untreated, dental disease can lead to painful infections, tooth loss, and even affect your pet’s heart, kidneys, and liver.

- Regular dental check-ups
- Dental scale & polish
How often should my pet get a dental clean?
It’s generally recommended that pets receive a professional dental clean at least once a year, though some pets may need more frequent care depending on their breed, age, and current oral health. Dogs with small mouths and flat-faced (brachycephalic) breeds, as well as older pets, are particularly prone to dental issues.
